GRANITE

Granite is one of the most popular premium materials for countertops in a kitchen or bathroom. Granite is a natural stone, and is totally unique. Here are some pros and cons

Durable: Granite is a tough material that can stand up to accidental slashes, cuts, and impact.
Heat-Resistant: Granite countertops do not often have issues related to excessive heat
Unique: No two pieces of granite are exactly the same, which means your kitchen’s granite slab will truly be one-of-a-kind.
Easy to clean and resists scratching

Potential Drawbacks:

Not Invulnerable: Just because it’s solid doesn’t mean granite countertops can’t be chipped or cracked. Also, granite absorbs liquid, which means it can stain easily if not protected by sealing.
Requires Maintenance: Your granite countertops will regularly need to be resealed to protect them from stains and other forms of damage.
Weight: Like other stone countertops, granite slabs are incredibly heavy. If your cabinets were not built to support their weight, they may need to either be replaced or reinforced prior to installation.

QUARTZ

Quartz is an engineered material(man made), it does not require sealing like natural stone surfaces such as marble or granite. Quartz countertops are also durable because they are waterproof, resist cracking, and are very hard. Here are some pros and cons.

MARBLE

Marble countertops come in a variety of types, prices, qualities and colors and its definitely a luxury. Here are some pros and cons.

Longevity: With regular upkeep, maintenance and sealing, marble countertops will last a long time in your home.
However as any other material Marble is not complete heat resistant.
Porous: it can stain easily
Cost: Marble countertops run more expensive than other countertop options
